My most recent publication, Before Heavens Gate by Alastair Raper, was printed incorrectly. An earlier version was sent to the printers and posted to everyone who ordered a copy during the pre-order run and during the event. There are a considerable number of corrections that should have been picked up, but I missed it.
First of all, I want to apologise to Alastair – after waiting so long for his book to reach publication day, I feel awful that I missed such a big mistake. I hope that I can make it up to him.
Second, I want to apologise to everyone who paid for a copy. It is not the quality of product I want to be putting out into the world.
To make it up to Alastair and to everyone who bought a copy, I’ll be sending out free corrected copies. I don’t want to put a timeline on it but we’re going through the latest version again to make sure it meets the high standards it should. I will let everyone know and get them to you as soon as possible.
