Aurora Leigh is continually haunted by the past. Despite her best attempts to create a life of normalcy, the truth of the monster she’s become lurks beneath. The need for consumption guiding her every move, she’s tempted to do the unthinkable. Will she be able to finally break the cycle, or will her uncontrollable desires force her to act?
Blending mythology with contemporary horror, Lamia Weeps bears witness to the path of monstrosity: a generational trauma forming the Lamia, Poseidon’s monstrous daughter reclaiming her power by consuming her prey.

Lamia Weeps is a literary masterpiece in character exploration. Pacelli’s mastery of her character’s inner monologue has readers questioning their own thoughts and feelings.

Lamia Weeps is truly a masterpiece of quiet family trauma written in a contemporary style depicting genuine feelings of self loathing and mistrust stemming from a long hidden source of family secrets. The title of Lamia weeps as it relates to mythology is masterful in and of itself
