Empty Vessels

Arabella Emms

Arabella is a silent observer of the human experience, drawing inspiration from the everyday encounters and moments that
often go unnoticed. When not lost in the world of writing, she can be found in a coffee shop or napping. Empty Vessels is her debut poetry collection, born from a desire to capture the essence of connection and curiosity in the spaces between us.
Poems of a Teenage Dyslexic

Lira Lewis

Debut Novel

Briony Collins

Briony Collins is a writer based in North Wales, where she also operates as the publishing company Atomic Bohemian.
Briony currently lectures in Humanities, English Literature, and English Language at Bangor University, where she will soon complete her PhD in Creative Writing.
She is also on the Poetry Wales Sub-Committee and takes an active role in supporting writers in Wales.
When she isn’t writing or teaching, Briony is curled up on the sofa watching terrible horror films with her husband, Tom, and their two guinea pigs, Brady and Delia.
That's Not True!

Kiera Rogers

We both study animals at university, but we are pretty different. I enjoy keeping animals and looking after them, but Lacey prefers reading and research. What do you like to do?
The Treasure Trail

Kerry Hughes

Kerry the berry is 48
And here to show you it's never too late
To create the dream you want to live
And fill the world with the love you give.
She's taken some time to write you a book
So please sit a while and take a look.
Kerry loves to skate, dance and go on day trips
Whilst snacking on strawberries, cake and chips!
She also enjoys hunting for treasure.
Treasure is anything that gives you pleasure,
Comfy socks, a favourite book or cuddly bear
Warm sunshine or a whizzy ride at the fair.
Make sure you stop and look around
As treasure is everywhere waiting to be found.
The Fisherman, Roots Trilogy

El Rose

El Rose is an author of all things fantastically queer. She uses her stories and poetry to give
voice to neurodivergent worlds and queer lives. Her first solo publication, The Fisherman, is an experimental exploration of autistic perception
and memory, also published with Barnard
Publishing. The short story in this anthology, ‘Through The Bracken and The Dirt’, is a
continuation of her first story published in the previous anthology in the series, Beyond the Withered Roots, so check out ‘Casting in Blood’ if you want more from her in this darkly magical world!
Roots Trilogy, Debut Novel

Alastair Raper

Alastair Raper is an author from England, now living in Donegal, Ireland. He enjoys writing short
horror, having contributed to stories to three other anthologies of dark fiction, including the two previous parts of the ‘Roots’ series. Through
a love of telling tales of darkness and horror that he discovered while contributing to these anthologies, Alastair has also begun to write monthly horror stories on his Patreon site, ‘Alastair’s Writing World’. Through writing short stories, he finds a constant stream of fresh ideas that are beneficial for his other, longer-term projects, which include novels in both the Fantasy
and Science Fiction genres.
Roots Trilogy

Imogen Morgam

Imogen Morgan is an English Literature student at the University of Sheffield. She primarily enjoys writing about things that are unsettling, whether in her poetry or prose. She has written and narrated short stories for a horror audio-drama project, which can be found on YouTube at @talesfromthetwistedmind. She has previously been published in her university’s creative writing journal, Route 57. When she isn’t writing down her newest story idea, she can usually be found listening to her favourite horror audio dramas, where she gets most of her inspiration. Imogen can be contacted via email [email protected]
or on Instagram under the username @kvothees where she occasionally posts her work.
That's Not True

Lacey King

Hi, I'm Lacey. I did the research and drawing for this book and then gave it to my friend Kiera to edit and translate into Welsh for you.
Debut Novel

Rachel Pacelli

Roots Trilogy

J. Morfa

James Morfa is a writer, poet
and film maker who grew up in the Merseyside
hinterlands but now spends most of his time in North Wales. His writing indulges in the strange, the surreal and the excessively queer, and he takes
his inspirations from pretty much anywhere in literature between 1890 and 1939, as well as from classical and Norse mythology. He is also inadvertently responsible for Bangor University Writer’s Guild’s No. #1 character ship.
Debut Novel

Charlotte Salf

A Year Without A Summer

Lesley Bungay

Why Is Everybody Acting So Weird (Except For Me)?, Roots Trilogy

Ben Fitzsimons

Ben Fitzsimons is a writer who usually focuses on comedy (except for in this story which is not funny at all). As this is the only story he has successfully had published after his creative writing degree from Bangor University, he’s now having a crisis of faith and considering exclusively
writing vaguely creepy stories about apartment buildings in the pursuit of fame and glory.
Into The Light, The Air We Breathe, Roots Trilogy

Alys Hall

Alys Hall is a writer and poet from North Wales. Her writing seeks to give space to environmental concerns, the LGBTQ+ community and Welsh myth. She published Into the Light (2022) with Barnard Publishing, as well as Sonder: An Anthology alongside her MA Creative Writing peers at Bangor University. You can find her Instagram @alys.catrin.
